We opened Lumenilumen in 2018 with one conviction: that a salon visit should feel editorial — considered, unhurried, and resolved. Our team begins every appointment with a structured consultation that takes into account your lifestyle, the condition of your hair or skin, and the look you carry in your mind's eye. The amber-gold warmth of our studio on Robson Street was chosen deliberately — it shows colour exactly as daylight does, so what you see in our mirror is what the world will see. We do not accept walk-ins for most services because the preparation matters as much as the appointment itself.

Our studio occupies a first-floor address on Robson Street in the West End, chosen because the north-facing windows deliver clean, consistent daylight throughout the day — the same quality of light a photographer depends on. The interior is finished in warm timber and stone, offset by the amber-gold tones of our fixtures, which together create an environment that feels calm rather than clinical. We keep the appointment book deliberately modest in volume so that no stylist is ever working on more than one client at a time. If you have visited high-volume salons and felt like a number, this is a different experience by design.
